Flipboard Turns your iPad into a Social Magazine

Yep, that’s right. This FREE iPad App can turn your Twitter and Facebook feed into a social magazine that brings all of the conversations to life with articles and photos.

What else can Flipboard do? If you have been using Twitter and Facebook for awhile you know that many people post links to articles and blogs. With Flipboard, you get seven additional categories of content (beyond Twitter and Facebook) to custom design your social magazine related to your interests.

How Flipboard works: After you register the app with your Twitter and Facebook accounts Flipboard takes tweets and posts and updates from your friends and lays them out as if they were in a magazine. Interesting Internet link suggestions show up as article snippets intertwined with photos and comments from friends.

Your iPad has to be online to use Flipboard. A new version, which will be available shortly, will save the information from your last visit, making it possible to read offline. Original article
