Fab Fashion Jewelry from Opaleen

Does jewelry have to be expensive to be fabulous and fun? I never think so. I am not someone who is willing to pay a lot for jewelry but I do like wearing fun jewelry from time to time. I own one pair of gold hoop earrings, a pair of diamond studs handed down from an aunt (as seen in the pic below), my gold wedding band with small diamonds, and a couple of pieces of silver jewelry but the rest is all fashion jewelry. I never understand what the big deal is with expensive gold and silver jewelry. The fashion jewelry I find is just as fabulous looking and you can’t tell the difference. You should see the fake diamond ring I have. When I wear it people think I am famous or very rich. You would never know it cost me $15.

The packaging was so fabulous that I had to take a picture of it. When I opened the box one piece of jewelry was inside of a satin bag with the Opaleen logo stamped on it. Underneath, the other two pieces were in individually wrapped gift boxes with purple ribbons tied around them. Everything was packaged tightly so nothing could be damaged in shipment. Each piece of Opaleen jewelry, whether it is packaged in a gift box or not, comes in a satin pouch.

Opaleen sure picked out some fab pieces for me to try. I love them all. My favorite has to be the Rho Three-Oval Earring set. I stick mainly to my hoops and diamond studs but I have always wanted to try something fun like these hoops. I have a long neck and as my hair is getting longer I wear it up a lot so these are perfect.Here I am modeling these fab earrings. Yes, definitely my favorite piece!

The Rho Three-Oval earrings are 18k gold plated ovals each larger than the last are connected by a single gold link in these flirty earrings and they sell for $24.00 on the Opaleen website.

I also received a funky silver necklace that will be great for me because I have such a long neckline. It hangs just below the small of my neck and although it looks like a bulky necklace it isn’t heavy like I thought it would be.

This necklace is called the Cabourg Silver Circle Necklace from the 2010 Opaleen Spring Collection and sells for $49.00 on the Opaleen website. “Modern style plus fashion forward thinking mix perfectly in our Cabourg necklace. Comprised of several thin strands of flexible silver chains, it culminates in a set of 7 silver interlocking hoops. The hoops vary in size and width and are drawn together by a single silver hoop.” This necklace measure 18″ and adjustable. The hoops measure 2-1/4″ at their largest.

Speaking about the Opaleen website, I love the feature they have to rate a piece of jewelry and to leave a review. It helps to decide on a piece of jewelry if you can read what other customers have said about it. That way you aren’t disappointed when you receive your order.

This bangle was the last piece I received. It is a new piece that is coming to the Opaleen website in April of 2010. It is a Hermes inspired bangle but is sold for much less at $19.00. There will be other color choices too – black, green, red, yellow, and brown with gold.
