When my kids were growing up I participated in every craft hobby I could get my hands on. I did macrame, crosstitch, weaving, sewing, quilting, and eventually taught quilting for 7 years. The only way I learned anything was to get a book from the library or a pattern from JoAnn Fabrics and then go home and practice. I didn’t have anyone around to teach me or even a place I could ask questions when I got stuck.
The Internet has changed so many things for the better. Moms have a huge community and millions of sites to choose from that can make their lives better and places to find help. I think this is a great forum so check it out.
