Temple Touch Thermometer Review (Giveaway) EXPIRED

I was given the opportunity by Mom Select to try the Medisim Temple Touch Thermometer and I jumped at the chance because while my children are grown, my middle son just had a new baby girl just 10 days ago. I thought this would be the perfect thing for them.

I remember when my children were little they didn’t make cool gadgets like this. You had the regular rectal thermometer and I refused to use it. In time I did find one of those strip thermometers that you put on your forehead so it made it much less painful to check a child’s temperature. But, that only works well for an older child. When it comes to babies you need something quick and easy that works without a lot of fuss. Babies don’t like to hold still long do they.

Immediately I could see that this product was going to be a winner. It says it is non-invasive right on the packaging and after doing a test run with it I found it to be true. You can even use it on yourself because the digital readout is easy to read in a mirror. I found that it is super accurate. I still have that forehead thermometer and it matched the temperature reading I got from that.

The thermometer works in 3 easy and quick steps.

Step 1: Press and release the power button to activate it. The display and light come on and you will hear 1 beep to indicate the unit is on.

Step 2: Wait for 2 short beeps.

Step 3: Place the tip sensor on your baby or child’s temple (between the end of the eyebrow and the hairline) or even under their arm. Listen for one long beep to indicate it is complete. You will be able to read the temperature within 6 to 8 seconds. The temperature reading will be displayed on screen for about one minute.

Many thermometers make you wait for up to a minute before you can read the temperature.
