How to Fix Coupon Printing Problems

Sometimes when you request a free coupon online the company doesn’t mail it to you, they have you print out right then and there. And, sometimes there are problems with printing coupons online. Coupons that have the bricks.coupons.com in the address are usually the ones with the problems.

If you try to print a Bricks coupon and the screen comes up blank and the words, Please Wait… or something similar shows up on the screen here is how you can solve the problem.

Here are some simple things you can do to fix that problem:

First you want to make sure the coupon printer plug-in is installed. When you click a link to print the coupon you will get a screen that looks similar to this. If the plug-in is installed the Print Now button will be at the bottom. If it is not installed the button will probably say something like Install Plug-in.

Second, if you get one of those messages simple change 2 characters in the URL in the Address bar to make it work.

Here is an example of a Bricks URL:

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ri3peuo59687503&bt=wg&o=53740&ci=1&c=GM&p=TyQrvJAY

Do you see the wg in bold in the URL above. Simply change whatever shows up in the URL you are given to the follow depending on your browser:

• Firefox: change to wg
• Internet Explorer: change to wi
• Safari: change to vi

Now this is not an exact science so you will need to experiment to find out which code works for you. But changing the 2-digit characters in the URL will make them print.
